My Morning Line Up || *A Little Announcement at the End*

Ok, so I'm super excited about this post!! I saw a post like this on some one else's blog and it inspired me!! I'm not super great with make-up and such... but I thought I'd share with you the beauty products I use!

Hair:

I started using this shampoo a little over a year ago after using some that my friend at college had!!  I definitely love it... Tresemme is a good quality brand, but not that expensive!! Plus I love the scent and it makes my hair really soft :)

I put this in my hair after drying it, right before I straighten it... my hair's not super frizzy, but I use this to help smooth down the top! :)
This is the straightener I use... a lucky grab at goodwill :)  My hair is naturally very straight, but I use the straightener to smooth down some frizz and I usually flip the ends one way or another.  Plus, when I curl my hair, I've found that using a straightener holds the curls better in my thick hair!

After I straighten my hair, I spray this onto my hairbrush and brush it through... again, it helps calm some frizz, plus it holds the 'flip' at the end :)
(is this boring ya'll?? I'm having fun!! Haha)

Rarely can I go a second day without washing my hair because it's fine and gets greasy easily... This dry shampoo is my best friend when I skip washing my hair!! It works wonders!! I usually spray it in and then pull my hair back with a headband while I put in my contacts and make-up and then tousle it in while using my blow dryer to 'fluff' my hair back up!

Overall, I don't spend much time on my hair!  Before I got it cut, I'd rarely leave it down through out the day bc it never stayed neat very long, but now that it's short it holds the style for a lot longer :)

Makeup:
I'm always working on my makeup routine!! I didn't start really wearing make up until I graduated highschool... I'd wear powder, but that pretty much was it!  So, being totally new at it, I often went to my roommates and friends at college for advice... when I left college, Pinterest became my 'go-too'!  I've gotten so many ideas and helps :)

I don't put this on very often, especially in the winter, because my face is oily and it doesn't need any help :)  But, if my face is feeling especially dry I'll put a little bit on.  I always try to let it sit for a little while before I start with my make up so it can soak in.

I discovered Rimmel at college too... again, its a good quality brand that falls in a good price range!  I start off with this foundation and it blends so nicely :) Definitely a happy customer here!!
This goes on top of my foundation.  It holds the make up, plus helps with the blending...
Then on to my eye make up, my favorite part!!

I use this, but not exactly as an eyeliner.  I have a dark-ish complexion and so I try to keep my eye shadow lighter... I take this and line my eyelid with it and then blend it in a little with my finger, then I put a little bit on the inner corner of my eye to brighten it up :)  Finally, I put it along the lower water line to make my eyes look a little bigger.

For eyeshadow, I use just whatever I have... I usually try to match the colors with my outfits, but I don't like it to be extreme!!  I prefer more subtle :)  If I can't match the colors than I'll just put a little bit of brown or gray along the outer edges, blending it in with the white liner...

Mascara is really my 'face-changer'.  Before I put any mascara on, I use my eyelash curler

I use this on the lower lashes... it was given to me, so I have no idea what the price range is... lol, so I don't know what I'll do when it's gone!!
This goes on my upper lashes.  After I put this on, I pull out my blow dryer again, and give my eyelash curler a blow of heat, using it again on my eyelashes!

Then I use this as a second layer :)  It tends to get really bold, almost to bold at first, but after just a few minutes it will look great!!
I finish up with this blush!! I love it, it blends in perfectly with the Rimmel foundation :)  A rule I use to apply my make up is to always smile!  When you apply your blush, smile really big and apply the blush to the round part, sweeping it out to your temple.  I usually run my hand over my cheeks when finished to blend it in!

There, wasn't that fun?!  Anyway, as promised, there is some excitement to this post!  As I'm planning and plotting out my series on "Things I've Struggled With" I wanted to open it up. I've always wanted to do a Q&A post on my blog, and now seems like a good time!  If you have any questions I'd be glad to take you to the Bible and try to help you out with them!  Feel free to comment anonymously or in person, I won't put your names in the posts :)

BTW, thanks for reading my blog!  I love hearing from my readers and I'm glad I haven't scared everyone away with my wacky posts :)
