"With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible"

This verse has just been on my mind as I've been thinking about some decisions in my life.  It's amazing to realize that, no matter what, God's will will happen one way or another.  Something else that was brought to my attention was this song.

Day by Day

Day by day, and with each passing moment,
Strength I find, to meet my trials here;

Trusting in my Father’s wise bestowment,
I’ve no cause for worry or for fear.
He Whose heart is kind beyond all measure
Gives unto each day what He deems best—

The Crazy Whirlwind I Love to Call Life

So... today, Dakota got baptized, and since our church meets in a bank basement, we had to reserve a pool, which means they had to reserve a room, which means.... My family is being treated to a night at a hotel! Tons of fun! hopefully I'll get lots of pics and maybe even post them tonight!

Bridal Shower

This afternoon we had a bridal shower for a lady in our church who is getting married in September.  I get to be the maid-of-honour for the wedding :)  I had tons of fun going out and shopping for the shower and then decorating Friday night :) 

Lol, I learned how to successfully and elegantly wrap a wire ribbon around the tulle, it was more difficult then it sounds ;)

The bulletin board was lots of fun to make :) Can I pass a class with this in school ;) lol  lots of little stickers :)

One of our games was sort of like Mennonite madness, but when you got doubles you ran up and put dish gloves on and find and unwrap gifts in the big bag that was stuffed with wadded up newspaper.

Then we played a game where four 'brides' got dressed up in toilet paper dresses!

Lol, this is the second time I've gotten dressed up like this... haha, hopefully, when it's really my turn, I can do better than toilet paper ;)

The rest of the afternoon, I was able to get a lot done! I came home, cleaned the house, did some laundry, finished my CE report, planned a budget, practiced lots of piano, and had 'relax' time :)!!!
Anyway, you know you live in Shipshewana when you look out the window into the backyard and see someone walking their pig! Lol!!!!!

Date Night

Tonight I took Hunter out on a 'date'... It was lots of fun :) Lots of pics were taken, sorry they're not edited or anything... ;)

First stopped for a refreshing drink...

Then we went putt-putting...

It didn't help that my club was more sized for a six footer ;) not short little me :o

Hmm... the par was usually 2... guess how often we made par.... lol

On our way to dinner... Hunter's adding up the damage from our golf game, uhuh :O

Hunter got a root beer with chocolate flavor shots... I tasted it and said ~YUCK~

Plain root beer is much better!

We ended up at steak and shake, it was delicious!

Then we headed to the mall... hmmm... of course I'm not driving at the moment...
